Will this game require an online pass? Can I rent it?

I was wondering if I would be able to rent this game? It's currently listed on Gamefly, so I'm hoping there's a way to at least try it out (low level cap, 48/72 hour trial, etc.). I know that CD-Keys are one time use for PC versions, but console games don't work the same way. If it does require an online pass, would I be able to purchase one with MS Points from the Live marketplace? The game is only a few days away, and it would be nice to get a clear answer on this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is no online pass in the game box . Just the pre order code which was on the back of the manual.

I'm sure you have to register the game to the Xbox. and no it can not be rented.

I'm sure you are wrong.

Cant be rented, You have to link the game with your trion account, Once that is done the game can't be played by anyone else other then you.

if you search the threads someone ask sledge this and he said it won't be allowed to rent.

So your saying the pre order code is the same as activation codes for PC? Otherwise I can't see how registering the game would work on the Xbox as there in no online pass nor activation code . Dcu on the ps3 had a online pass when it was first released b4 f2p

When you start playing the game there is a button that says Link Account on that page there is a code you put in on the trion website, I know this because my game came today and i'm reading the manual atm.

The pre-order code you get can just be redeemed in the In-game store to recieve the items you get with that copy.

thats just for linking your account for your arkfall codes reward i think not 1 time disc locker
