This game did alot of things to many honestly because they tried doing so much that they failed to do anything good.
They took the quantity over quality route with this game and it becomes apparent the more you play it.
Its hodgepodge of half thought out ideas, half done implementation and some ideas that needed to be put back on the drawing board and redone •cough salvage matrix cough•

Honestly save your money in two weeks better games come out buy one of those you will have alot more fun with a few games that have way more polish then this game.

As hard as I am on Defiance, your post best said it. I hear a lot of people thinking if you get X-amount of fun hours out of any game then its a worth while purchase. I disagree completely. I don't judge my gaming experience from how much fun I have.

Example, I stll play Dark Souls, not because its fun, but its challenges me. Had the game for 4months, only rang one bell, having a hard time in The Ruin of Londo, im sorry, not a hard time, but getting skull ***** in Londo. I lost interest in Defiance after 2 weeks.

    Pathetic

Not exactly the place for this, but you totally made me think of it and I agree wholeheartedly about challenges (granted fun is a big part)... What most great single-player/multi-player games have is a DIFFICULTY setting... Sure, play through on Normal. Fun. Now, invite some friends in and crank it up to Insane! You might die a million times, but you start to make plans and strategies with your buddies and once you beat it (or a boss or whatever), you feel freakin' awesome!

I think Defiance could hold out hope more so, even with their current content if there was a way to make it a lot harder, where dying actually had consequences and where you actually RELIED on your group and those around you. Beating a Co-Op map on "Insane" mode? Hellz yeah!

Actually thanks for pointing that out. Yes I do prefer accuracy and I also like people who nicely help correct me as you did. So now I will fix that typo. :)
