We all know that something is gonna happen to the servers on the 2nd April . World wide release 3 different platforms ( one if not all three is going to go belly up ) you just have to be realistic about it.
What's going to be the PR apologies used for the most common issues to effect mmo's on day one?
I'm sure we will get the due to unforeseen demand on pre orders.
Any others that will be used?
i doubt it...i mean besides a little lag on the first few days, which should be expected, i bet launch day goes smooth. i think that the biggest issue on tuesday will be that some people wont have the required storage space to play(minus pc). there are alot of cross platform games that launch with no hang ups. im excited and my fingers are crossed lol
There's a lot that go belly up, battlefield , gw2 , diablo3 swtor and dare say it sim city .
Again I hope all goes well but hope for the best prepare for the worst. Pc gamers are more prepared for day 1 issues, console gamers can be the. Omg the sky is falling when lag hits
I don't really care...Everything can happen,so what? This is just a video game...But i guess there will be complains whatever happens...
even if things go 99.999999% right people will still be on the forums complaining and saying they are returning the game... its just the society we live in today
If they go Belly up we might get a Weapon or something, at least that's the impression of Trion I've been getting. Have you seen some of their 'Thanks for playing the Beta' emails? They're either really nice people, or doing an incredible impression of really nice people.
Where the hell am I going with that? No idea. Hope the Servers hold up. Would hate to see any major problems early on, but like I said if there were any major problems I expect we'll be compensated fairly.

EA didnt even listen in Beta when we kept telling them the servers wasnt handleing the load well for BF. So when ti kept crashing launch day was not shocked. Most base the size of opening day server on preorders + 1/3 that for opening day. Retailers not sending in proper numbers tends to screw em over on the math sadly.
I didn't read anyone else's posts so apologies if any of these were already said.
First off, lag is always the first guess...BUT...we saw that they are quick about fixing that AND we shouldn't see the number of people playing to change too much on the 360 severs I assume. Think about the fact that the BETA wasn't just pre-orders, some of those people won't have the game day 1 and I don't think too many first timer and people on the fence will either.
Second, sign-in issues...keep trying and you'll get in eventually....not a big issue, just annoying
Third, undying enemies...this is the kicker IMO. As for me, only saw this in first couple hours of the BETA...but, several saw it all the way through the BETA. I'm going to assume this will be vigorously worked on and fixed before launch for everyone. They've made it a point to show they care about this as much as we do, let's give them the credit they've earned until they lose it (which I don't see happening). Livestreams may just be PC, but they look amazing.
Lastly, pre-order items...I've pre-ordered before and never received my items due to code errors or lies. Did I flame their boards with hate posts...no. I asked nicely and either got a fix...or nothing (thus the lies). If you happen to not get items due to code redemption errors....it's not the end of the world. Ask and you shall receive, I'm sure Trion won't turn their back on you. You put money into the game early, and I'm sure they feel the same as you if you don't receive your well deserved rewards.
