If loot drops scale to your EGO level, then is it true I can just grind the starting areas the entire game and get the same loot as if I were in the higher/harder areas? Or do different areas/monsters drop different loot?

You answered your own question.. Loot scales to YOUR ego level. So if you are level 1000 and go back to the first area of the game you will get level 1000 loot, although you will have a lower chance to get item drops.Quote:

They purposefully removed vertical progression so that noobs and vets can all play in any area of the game. There's no such thing as a high level area.
Unlike Guild Wars 2, even after 450 + ego turning back in the beginning of everything right after the tutorial, you will struggle to make the first dynamic events, the calculation server that makes you pro enemy is perfect, there will always be challenge where you are.Quote:

And Fiancee ur right their nothing like starting areas. U have the Tutorial were u get ur first 2 Guns, Grenade, Shield and First Egopower. After it ur the World where every Enemy is just what he is like i said before. There are different Types like Mutants, Raiders or 99ers. But otherwise their just Targets to kill and that fight back.

i dont understand this though, gear doesnt scale at all, i had tons of weapons and grenades that were the same exact thing, like example fv-12 grenade, i had one that was rank 40 and one that was rank 240 they had the EXACT same stats.
U can get your Gear to scale with Synergies on Weapons or Shields and so on. And with higher Ego you unlock more Perks to Boost your "Stats" like Dmg overall, Critdmg or Damage taken.Quote:
