    my guildie bought direct from trion and he has to get support because he has no access and forgot his secruity questions.

    You only got one key from G2Play right?

    I changed PW several times, setup security Q's, subscribed for the newsletters etc. No luck yet...

    only steam gets 2 keys.

    all other retailers get only one.

    trion direct orders get no key.(purchase is automatically applied).

    I know this is a really stupid question :-) where do I go to reset my password. I was able to download the client but I am getting the dreaded "Login successful but this account is not entited to play DEFIANCE. Please contact Trion Worlds Support." I clicked on the forgot pw but takes me to a non-working link.

    google trion account look for the one that doesn't have support in the url. log in, go to account settings iirc. idk there's onyl a few options there really.

    I'm also having this issue. Password change didn't work either. I even applied the Standard Edition code to my account, but... nothing. It won't let me download the client.

    Yeah I've changed the password on the account but something isn't right, the defiance server doesn't seem to get that ive changed the password. If i use the new password the account tells me I've input something incorrectly, if i go back to using the original password it accepts it but i still get the ineligible to play yet box.

    Hi all, I had the same problem and fixed it moments ago with a bit lof lateral thinking.

    I bought the game through steam, upon opening I get the client login page and I get the message above.

    So what I did was go onto the Trion web page where you access your defiance account, one of the tabe along the top says apply code, I typed in the game serial code from the steam message when opening the game into this box separately for each if you have more than one. Apply and the description appears in the list below. Once I completed this for the serials I have, I went back and re-opened the client, added email address and password, left auth code blank and hey presto I am in. Although it seems servers are not available until today 8am US time.

    Wow...so I have to sub to the newsletter just to play...that's pretty ridiculous.
    (Because now I can login after subbing to the newsletter. Apologize for not saying that I've been with Trion since RIFT beta. Thus, have a verified email and security questions. :P)

    Ok those who got the game with Steam, do the following, it's not a password issue since the account is recognized.

    Go to Steam, Library, right click Defiance, View CD Key.

    Go to Trion https://rift.trionworlds.com/
    and log in, go to Apply Code. Paste the CD Key code you have from steam into the code box and apply them.
    You should now be able to log in and download the new patch for the game and play.

    This is the fix I used and figured out without google.

    Just a heads up, I was having the CD key problems with steam like some of you, rattled my brain forever to try and fix it, missed a crucial thing: MAKE SURE THE CD KEY CODE IS IN ALL CAPS. Pretty damn lame if I say so myself
