private server is not offline. its still online. you have a server and a client.
Pretty sure if you have the source code. You host it your self at home. Unless your computer couldn't handle both hosting and playing the game, then you just use 2 computer.Quote:

I fancy kicking a few ppl in the nuts, SimCity cannot be played totally offline, the current download doesn't save progress, it does nothing more than enable devmode. If you exit the client completely your city is gone, defeats the point of playing simcity, unless you want to dedicate a pc to simcity leaving it on 24/7.
