I think that's what they are doing from what I can gather from various bits of information floating around.

There is very little left of the actual Defiance team so I don't see much in the way of options for them.

Do you want to risk Defiance becoming even more like Rift? I know what you are saying, and I think they will. I just hope that there are enough people who are not Rift on the Defiance team to know what should stay Rift and not make it into Defiance.
