Nothing against the PC gamers either, i just prefer not to play in my PC and one of the main reasons is that i`m completely unable to play with the mouse/keyboard, believe me i tryed more then enough and i just can`t. Last time i played successefully a PC game was with my Timex Sinclair, and that was long long ago.

You can play on the PC with the controller and you can connect it to your TV.

I honestly think your actually over paying buying a console since some of the same games generally cost more on consoles. And most people who have a console also bought a PC. The combined cost is actually more than just getting a gaming PC. Also PC has a lot of free to play games and you get a lot of free extra content in some games like Skyrim through mods. In the long run you save more money buying a gaming PC.

Hey, that's nice to hear that you can already equip full-size keyboards! Cheers! Though I've never drank beer. I don't know what it tastes like but I'm 25.

I am proud of my PC because I didn't buy a PC package with a "Made in China" power supply. :) Never trust a deal too good to be true, most of them are just unbought or refurbished repackaged into something seemingly special.

People are afraid of warranties and all that but as rigbuilder experience, you do get warranty for every piece of PC separately from the store and the manufacturer. At least you know they're brand new and they're freshly opened from a tamper-sealed box to maintain quality.

Forget the Pc! I still want my sword and shield and perhaps some cool armor. As long as it's a charge sword and perhaps flame shield?

True that! Though it's like the "Arcade Joystick" vs. "Arrow keys" in a fighting game discussion. It really depends on your preference and level of comfort.

I'd have to say myself that I am really bad at joysticks. The aim felt so wrong that the console had to compensate it with "console auto-aim" that when even if it's not dead center, they'll do it for you.

If you put it like that, I'd just have to look to my left. (looks at avatar pic)

Yes i know, but not all games suport the controllers, and in the most part to use controllers you need to use programs like Xpadder or DS3 Tool, just to give an example.
I tryed to play Defiance in my PC and i did because it allows to use a controller wich i thought "cool, finally i`m gona be part of the master race" ;), sadlly my GPU didn`t like the idea.
That`s why i play console, i don`t need to upgrade all the time .
The only good thing that my PC has is the CPU (core2quad) the rest i would have to change, from power source to motherboard, perhaps even the memory.
    New computer?
    Nah...

The basic rule of a PC rigbuilder - balance the hardware to eliminate bottleneck. You have to look at memory, processor, video card, hard drive, cooling systems, and power supply (casing and wire management is optional but still essential). Having one of these left out in the cold will make you really regret buying a PC package or regret going for middle budget gaming PC. There is no half-baked spending by principle. It has to be above average or exceptional spending to get the desired results.

Do not buy a second-hand video card unless it's your friend or relative who offered it. Refurbished parts are mostly bound to be RMA, and it might be cheap but in the long run you run out of time and resources for shipping if it breaks down.

EDIT: Don't forget compatibility with the Motherboard. Always seek for advice when in doubt, check the manuals. Usually the newer models of motherboards support the latest graphic cards, processors and all that. Check the LGA type and the PCI-E slots it has. Also have extra power connectors as some of the new video cards like my GTX 660Ti require 2 power connectors. :)

I also can't do keyboard, I use the controller. I don't think we can qualify to be part of the PC master race because we use controllers.
Almost all console games are also on PC and if its on console its going to be controller compatible. There are a few exclusives but their are more games on PC than the few exclusives on consoles.

If you buy a good gaming PC you won't need upgrade for a very long time. Their are people who have almost 6 year old computers that are better than the new consoles. Also you don't have to worry about games being backwards compatible on PC.
