But that kind of thing narrows the focus of games and I'm going to say it, it makes a game stagnate. I don't care how much new content you create. If the idea then is to always keep working toward requirements for arkfalls.
In essence as it is now, this game does have an endgame because it's a point where you stop leveling up and are just grinding, but instead of PvP being THE reason for all of this, one reason is intrinsic and there are other reasons. Arkfalls, PvP, soon-sieges, and other things, even clan or group based or dev created contests.
Other games have a linear view of the endgame and it's about PvP only. It's easy to see this with games that have SP and MP-the SP often is used as just a big tutorial to "teach" you about new weapons you'll use but MP and the point where you have everything tends to be the endgame.
Endgames tend to make one or two builds the most important and we've seen that here. There was nothing in the game that required a 4mil scrip weapon, not even PvP. I'm rather glad they are not focusing on some sort of endgame and hope they'll continue with dynamic changes and not focus on just PvP.
