Why do my grenades hurt!! ^^

i know it seems thats the way it should be done but i dont agree with it the game has some tuff times in it and if your throwing a grenade for a save me move and the mobs are around you i dont think it should effect you... the fact is you get one grenade per cooldown it should be used as a opening or finish move really and have no effect on you. i was using a tar snare grenade for a bit and just threw it away as i was getting bored of not knowing the radius properly and getting slowled myself... did people have the same problem.

nah , ain't stupid enough to throw grenade at ourselves xD only when feel to mess around .

well wen ur shotgun/mele your close quaters plus first mmorpg ive played when im using a skill that has a cooldown that hurts me no allys and enemys just seems odd to be honest. i get where ur coming from dont throw them at yourself completely understand but there were alot of times where i wasnt and still managed to get snared very annoying

Throwing the grenade just past the enemy can help. Also there's an Ego perk that reduces the range at which you're hit by explosions by 45%.

The explosives hurt you to discourage suicide runs. Otherwise, in addition to the bunny hopping rocket spam noobs, we'd have people running into a group and dropping a grenade or spamming their rocket/grenade launcher at their feet for cheap kills.

There's already plenty of that going on. At least the second part.

Also they hurt because they explode. The game is easy enough, for the love of GREAT HERA let's just leave it as is. (If anything nudge the other way, but I know that's not happening.)

^^ this guy, Genius. I would seriously hate, HATE that. The jumping is bad enough v.v let along spamming explosives.

I can infact tell you in real life grenades HURT. got the scars to prove it!
