No, it's B2P with microtransactions (cosmetic and boosts only, nothing gamebreaking) and DLC's.

Considering it's a one time purchase....

The store will not give you anything that will give you an advantage over anyone else in terms of stats. You level, customize with your points, godspeed. The store will be cosmetic and provide boosts for playing (+xp, +money)....for now anyways.

Look at it like a car its free to drive once you buy it, then comes the fuel wich in this case would be the DLC, and then the insurance wich might be the in-game store???? Yeah you catch my drift

....what? This makes no sense at all.

Here's something that will make sense: you are purchasing a car (Defiance) to which you could buy rims or tinted windows (in-game store) and you can go from good coverage of insurance (current game) and upgrade to extra insurance that will give you some benefits but not needed at all (DLC).

Makes sense now?
