Save your Scrip! Charge blades don't come cheap (at least with Alpha Test prices)

I can't believe that people are going to complain about a legendary charge blade costing 500K. I have been to the sellers thread and seen weapons go for well over that repeatedly. Trion watches these forums and probably figured that if some low EGO assault rifle will sell on the forums for 750K scrip, then people should be willing to do the same for a charge weapon. It's my opinion that we basically screwed up our own economy and Trion just followed suit.

I'm close to 3k ego and the most amount of scrip I have ever had at one time was 200k. That price means the majority of players won't be able to afford it, it's ridiculous.

Two things, buying from a vendor isn't the only way to get em, and Probably you have relatively scrip because you're more used to salvaging items than selling them? If you would rather buy something for a set price, then stop salvaging. If you'd rather gamble on lock boxes then salvage. It's your choice.

I hope the free garage blade you get with the DLC isn't a crappy blue one :(

you can get an orange charge blade from t4 lockboxes and If i'm not mistaken it has better stats than the orange sword from the vendor. Don't know if they will change the drop rates on live but I got mine on my first t4 lockbox. Also, you will be rewarded a green charge blade at the end of the DLC storyline.

It appears to have the same stats as the orange vendor one, the reason there's a difference is that annoying bug with vendor values being different from the item once it's in your inventory.

The 500k is nothing. The 1000 rep is what's gonna be a pain.

Is it the same with contracts for the new vendor or did they change how you earn rep with em?

Rep actually comes very fast on the test server. You get 25 rep for finishing an arena with a gold medal. I have 840 Thorn Liro rep on my character. The problem with it is not to accumulate it, but to find uses for it...

I'm not really concerned which method I use to get a charge blade. I'll be happy with an orange from either method. I just hope the orange drop rates are improved with the DLC so it is actually worth buying the tier 4 lockboxes.
