Hellbug Helmet

I paparazzied the **** outta this guy. My camera all up in his grill. Ive heard of the Hell Bug helmet before. And read about it in another thread long long ago, but the thread simply just died off without any explanation of where it is from. This is the last bit of mystery Defiance has pre DLC. So I ask...what is this?

Apparently people who have had issues in the past with pre-order items and stuff like that have ended up getting it as sort of a token of apology.

Guessing it could also be a promotional thing?

But now I want it. D: It would be especially cool if they added armor to match for it later on.

...Now I'm thinking about how cool it would be if a Monster Hunter-style crafting system were implemented with this being one of the armor options. xD

it was when the hellbug cap went missing and people moaned about it, i guess some GMs gave out the wrong 'hellbug hat' to the people that lost it.

If you watched the twitch shows, you know that to not be the case. LOL.

If it isnt copies of the game they give away Rift(yes rift) hellbug mounts. Thats it.

I watched a few minutes of one, but got bored before any give-aways started. Never watched one since.

I just checked with the team, and duction wins the "guessed correctly" award!

It was indeed given to some people by mistake, when they were meant to get the hellbug ballcap. This hellbug hat will appear in the game later, but currently there's no way to earn it!

Those who got it by mistake are just lucky recipients of the good 'ol

Would be cool if we could start getting parts from enemies and crafting 'em into weapons/armor and such, i.e. custom armor built from Monolith pieces. I mean we basically do the collection part already for contracts, so it would mostly be adding an actual crafting system in that would need to take place before it could become possible.
