The new Tomb Raider also intrigued me.

The direction they went with the reboot of Tomb Raider is (opinion incoming) EXACTLY what the series needed. The story of Lara going from a naive, albeit eager, young woman to a wise, strong, mature lady is really something to watch take place as you go through the game. I mean that literally. You can see it in her face as you progress through the game and she is forced to make some of the decisions she'll have to make (they even have some unlock-able art pieces that show this very thing) . Gritty, gut-wrenching, empowering, if you're of the type that enjoys an amazing story you'll love the new Tomb Raider.

As for Bioshock: Infinite? Equally impressive and has a story that rivals the praise I gave Tomb Raider. It's the freshest in my mind right now and to be honest, I'm still shaking my head a little bit over the end (in a positive manner). The bright sun-kissed location of Columbia is a great contrast to the depths of Rapture from the previous titles. And again, the story (this is where I'd put a slack-jawwed smiley but I don't know how lol)...WOW. Infinite also boasts (again, this is only my opinion) one of the more impressive A.I. ally's I've ever experienced (ranks up there with how well your squadmates were in Gears 3). A popular complaint I see in a lot of games that involve friendly a.i. is the fact that they don't really help in anyway. Elizabeth saved my backside more times than I can even remember playing through Infinite. The sad thing about that? She never actually fights...go figure.

Both are great and you wouldn't go wrong with either one (again, that is only my opinion). I would suggest though that if you decide to go with Infiinte and end up liking it, that you get your hands on the first one as well. I won't say much as I don't want to spoil anything for those that have mentioned they are playing currently but, there is a link.....Not to mention the Songbird statue that came with the CE is probably one of the better one's I've purchased.

Actually, I believe they released a dual pack with Bioshock 1 and 2 on the same disk. Well worth it imo.
Awesome gaming experiences the both of them.
