As far as patching while its down, ive always just waited till its up to Patch. Hence, not knowing you can complete the patch before the game comes up...

But please Dread, feel free to continue on being COMPLETELY useless for any help of the community.

just got done optimizing and couldn't get to the character select screen. Hopefully once servers come back up we will be able to log right in.

Aye, Deathbringer. Same thing here, with the exception of my Xbox going into WHIIRRR!! mode. Hopefully we've saved ourselves some time.

I had to re patch for some reason after leaving the game (after I patched it the first time) Hopefully everything will still work out ok.
