@OP here's the deal. You can have early access if you want it. Early Access starts on 2 April.

I know not everyone in this thread celebrates Easter - has anyone mentioned in this thread that it's a holiday weekend? - but for a lot of people it's an important time to spend with their family. I hope Trion did right by their employees and gave them a little break today, assuming opening the servers early would prevent that being an option.

Ok, the game is awesome, Sledgehammer ins the best CM I've ever see, but the fact Defiance is the only MMO in like last 10 years without early cookies is one insult to all of us players! Just needed to make this 100% clear, sorry for anyone who don't agree!

Unfortunately, I work third shift on the weekends. No sleeping for me until 8 A.M.! >_<

Some of the players do get early access, if you take into consideration that some people won't get the game until April 12th.

It would be nice if they did get a bit of time off, but from what I have heard about the industry I doubt it given how close they are to the launch.

Don't much care that there were no early access, but not having people pre download it who purchased it through trion themselves are really poor customer service, if I understand it correctly the guys who purchased through Steam could download the game already.

I am going to be pissed if the downloaded screws around like the beta one did as well, especially since there is no pre download.
