Of course it worked! If you say otherwise, you aren't a real gamer! ;)
I used medical alcohol and Q-tips to clean the connectors, and you had to push the game back and to the right.
And thats why we have inhailers :D
Well, back in the day I would usually pull the cartridge out 2 or 3 times to readjust it but that never seemed to work. More often than not it would only work after blowing on the cartridge. It works, and many of my SNES games still work perfectly, after blowing on them first of course.
Pssh, it just means you're an old gamer but I remember doing that. Also cleaning my discs for my playstation/xbox. :p
Hey does anyone remember using a cassette tape before they had there first disk?
I used to program my own into the ZX Spectrum from mags my dad would buy. Also we played pong, and the 45 minute tapes that you had to play into the computer for 20 minutes to just play a game. Outrun had to have a seperate tape to save to.
Your first game was Pong! And it was awesome!
games are great today but i still love playing the old nes even today. pong was awesome. basic but fun
If you've ever blown Mario, Link, Samus, and others to get them to play right... you might be a real gamer.
Those of you old enough to remember the original Nintendo know what I mean... and it isn't dirty.
My dad is a heavy smoker and often we had to blow dust/ash out of the cartridge (if we didn't play a game for a while) and sometimes we had to use alcohol and q-tips to clean them. Both of these worked for us.
You still own a Super Nintendo Entertainment System or a Atari 2600
Would always do that with my N64 as a kid.
You might be a real gamer if you sometimes miss games like 'Streets of Rage' Dx
Arch rivals my favorite basketball game of all time. My NES died with that game in it lol.
