Just in case you have not already done so, make sure to load some of your melee perks when using the CB.

I wasn't able to stay connected long enough to really do anything w/ dlc, but my son was, and after he loaded up some of the melee perks, he was decimating with his blade.

Only slightly. (VERY slightly) Check the pic I posted earlier in this topic.

The "light" damage is 8 higher (808 vs 800)
The "jump" damage is 15 higher (1515 vs 1500)
And for some reason it highlighted the "charge" damage on my purple as if it was higher, even though the damage for that stat is 129 higher on the orange vendor blade (2121 vs 2250)

I've found a pretty awesome combination is a charge blade and a low refresh time flash grenade.

Stun 'nade > hack stunned enemies to pieces > rinse & repeat

Even better if you have the +X% damage from behind perk because it's easy to get behind stunned enemies.

I got a legendary blade out of a T4 box 35 minutes after the servers went live...

I'm not very popular in the clan right now... lol

But what would a legendary be then? 815 if found? LOL never understood the obsession with orange

@ Jbone yeah I got 20 of them in less than 10 minutes open only 4 box and finding three crayons.... seriously pics or fiction

Yeah, the difference between any of the charge blades in the game (lockbox or vendor, all rarities) isn't going to make any kind of significant difference in damage output really. The only real difference is that some have to slot for a blade color mod and some don't.

Although I have no idea if you can open that slot on the ones that don't have it from the start, like you can with the guns. Maybe you can?
