I thought of this game today at work. We have a sign that says;
"Customers are loyal to quality, not to a company."
See, I work in Quality Assurance. Some of you may not know what that means. My job is to make sure the products we get from suppliers are up to my company's standard of quality, and that the products we produce are up to our customer's standards.
If I let my department accept or ship out product(s) that were flawed, did not work, or we failed to ship them, I would lose my job after I had to fire a few other people. It sounds like this has happened at Trion a few times since this game came out. I understand that this is the "video game" world, and we all signed off on the fine print when we clicked agree. Bottom line is we bought a game and DLC with a reasonable expectation that they would work, and they don't. Trion's reasons for the delays were to make sure things were going to work, and we begrudgingly understood. Now it's not working for a lot of people, PS3 NA players don't even get the DLC they paid for, and Trion has nothing to say about it except, "We're working on it, stay tuned for info."
If someone doesn't understand why people are upset at that, I'm not sure what to tell you.
