show off your disrupter

ok just did blow up the volge emergency useing only my disrupter (no mods and not mastered and im lvl 20 in lgs). and i actually won with out goin down, didnt use my ego power, and only used my grenade once. I KNOW crazy right? anyways its blue with radiation nano, cannoneer synergy, -0.50 accuracy, and x1.15 crit mult. yeah probably sucks compared to others.

anyways wanted to see what some of you others have tried and found not sucking with the current changes

also with burst weapons and increase to fire rate, does that affect the time between burst or the time between each round in the burst?

You'd love the Disruptor I run with then. Syphon Nano, 1.25x crit multiplier and -.30 accuracy. Slapped on a critical barrel and nano trigger magazine mod with scope.'

Plus it got a face lift. Used to have this giant bayonet sticking out of it, now it's orange with 3 barrels.

In my experience, it seems to be time between the bursts, at least in the case of the Disruptor. That enforced delay between volleys is shorter than it was, unless I'm very much mistaken.

That's a nice test, btw. I'm going to grab me one of those Disruptors off the faction vendor to try out, Soleptor I think. I believe that one is 127 base dmg now, can't recall if it's the new model (like the Volge Battle Rifle but a diff color) or the classic wicked chrome look. I'm still seeing both in game, and am partial to the old school model.

yeah they should do something about the old model disruptors in torqs "tool cabinet" otherwise some new player down the road is gona think theres some gun floating around that hes never seen before

be careful ive been told i do some unneeded difficult things (using a frc revolver against the volge when i got board of my wolfhound for example)

Not a problem. I went a week with one character using nothing but flares. This kinda stuff is half the fun. :D

Disrupters are one of the more under appreciated guns in the game. Get one with the right bonuses, mod it right, understand what it is and how to use it best, adjust your tactics to suit, and you can dominate with one. Treat it like a SAW or an AR and you'll spend more time running back from the nearest extraction point than you will killing things.

Anyone likes the new appearance of Disruptor? I find it looks like Volge LMG. Why did they change the old appearance I wonder?

My disruptor has:
Nano: Electricity
Brutal synergy

melee damage x1.25
melee damage x1.15
exp roll: 10% damage from behind

bio melee

This guns great for shocking people to disrupt their aim then moving in to melee them to death.

Tried mine yesterday and was pleasantly surprised that it was useable!
Now I have three to finally mod out and swoon over!

Did the rocker get some lovin too?
