They love to use shady marketing descriptions to get you to open your wallet. Save your money, the improvement is in new weapon types not the chance to get a higher color weapon. Even if you had gotten orange items out of a lockbox paid with money, would it feel rewarding?
Bought 26 boxes in one go and got 2 oranges !
Guess I was wrong then. Spend away.
I don't use bits on lockboxes. Only on clothing, if that. keys are too easy to get now that weapons cost next to pow **** to mod.

Lockboxes aren't guaranteed to give you anything. You don't play the lottery and expect to win-you hope you will. And if you play and win $10, you can't get mad because the lottery gods didn't give you the jackpot. You rolled the dice and repeatedly got a bad roll. If you keep rolling the dice expecting something different, it's a fool's gambit. (I'm not saying you're foolish--your money to do with as you please).
However, for me (frequently used to bad luck), I've gotten (with earned not bought keycodes) 2 oranges, 4 charge weapons--one purple--out of 4 T4 boxes and 2 oranges and at least 2 charge weapons out of doing 4 Dark Matter arkfalls. Doesn't mean the oranges are the best weapons ever but I was happy to see orange because it was fun.
I dont spend money on bits and have to say for me have noticed an increase in oranges out of Tier 4 Lock boxes, you dont just sit and try the same areas lock box over and over do you.
