New Side missions to get Volge gun.

I looked on the forum and couldn't find anything, also I can't seem to remember the names of the side missions (I am at work so I can't just look it up). But there appears to be some side missions where the reward is a Volge LMG of some sort. I can see them on the map and when I Travel to their destination nothing is there. Are these quests bugged or just non existant?

When I get home form work today I will take some screen shots of them and all their locations and see if I can look up anything about them. Also I had another question about how to send in a ticket about my free character reconstruction. I was playing around with ti when I first got it but I lost internet connection due to a car accident near my home. I was hoping my character would just reset from the character edit menu but sadly when I was able to get back on she looked all wrong, was no longer Irathient and was now a Castithan that I do not care for how she looks, Also my reconstruction is gone so I guess it saved what I was working on during the crash.

Do you guys think there is any way to get a new one? I can't afford to buy more bits for a little while or I would just buy a new reconstruction? I don't want to make a new character I have too much fun with my one now, and I find her unplayable with that fugly face and weird bob cut hair.

There's a bug with these missions, they show up on your map when they shouldn't (or maybe it's intended, but it's confusing in any case). They're only available when a volge siege is going on nearby. Wait for sieges to pop, go to one of the mission markers and you should be fine from there.

I actually thought something like that since they are so close to the siege areas. Also I think I figured out how to submit a ticket.

Sad the gun isn't worth a thing, the dmg is so low on it.

Actually, the gun is quite useful. Will be even more useful when you can roll one with synergies and bonus stats (obtained from the higher tier volge rewards in sieges)

Oh, I meant the Volge LMG gun as reward from the siege quest.

But all these pugs you know they run around like headless chickens so it's not easy to get past stage 10 with those players but aside that, I usually have T8 - T9 rewards but I always get greens and blues and well, hasn't been a gun that I didn't vendored so far ..

I assume it only has a change to drop in T10?

I am positive this 5% drop is inaccurate. Even if the drop rate was much lower (say .5%) I actually think this weapon can not even drop anywhere, period. Arsenic, myself, and at least 3 other CORE members that play at nights and have done over 50 sieges getting over 20k each time and have never seen one. Additionally CORE as a clan has done over 10 sieges and not a single soul has ever seen one.

Rolling one of these with fire rate, crit, and nano could make it a pretty nice weapon. Too bad we wont see one until they fix it.....

I suspect you're correct on the drop rate. There's no way that there's a 5% drop rate. I don't think the epic or legendaries are dropping at all.

I've gotten T10 rewards at least a dozen times and have yet to pull anything better than a couple of purples, and if memory serves they were things like Birdshot Pumps and Rebound Lobbers.

I picked up a purple volge lmg with lightning/electric nano the first day the dlc went live and modded with all blues since it was an Outlaw synergy and it's very deadly against volge, the way it fires knocks their shields off very quickly with headshots

If I remember correctly I got it from the north point siege from a Visca. that I soloed with a fully blue modded orange syphon vot techmag pulsar

I also have a green volge battle rifle gun MK I that can not be traded so I assume that's from the mission/pursuit that gives you it but it has no nano or synergy so I added a nano when I modded it instead of a bigger clip or faster reload

I was hoping the gun was going to look like this http://www.defiancedata.com/images/uploads/523.jpg But the moded version of the normal Vot LMG (It's name escapes me) is still pretty neat. Infact I really like the new VOT lmg desighn, it is very Aaron Beck District 9 looking.

That's the cold fire assault rifle show cased at the E3 demo of the DLC, that they said wasn't a priority for this DLC.

Ok heres how it goes my green Volge battle rifle gun is a MK I and my purple Volge battle rifle is a MK III, so I am assuming that green is MK I and blue is MK II and purple is MK III there as orange would be MK IV

Crazy part is I hardly ever run with my clan Shadow Hunters since most have quit or just stopped playing, But I do always find cool stuff but then again I do run all boosts all the time I am on

There are a lot of things that just don't seem to add up here. It is unfortunate because I would love to see a confirmed sighting of this and just know that I have been unlucky with a rare drop (Many Tier 4 lockboxes and no chargeblade yet).

You are stating that you received this from a Viscera that you soloed? In Siege Master's posts it states that this Volge LMG would only drop at completion of the siege and having enough points to get to the 8, 9, or 10 tier rewards. The loot rewards are done through a special lockbox and these special lockboxes are suppose to contain the Volge LMG. So saying you received this weapon off of a drop from a Viscera is invalid from the start.


With that said, I do not see why you could not have the new owner of this weapon open a trade window with someone to prove this. We all play this game to have fun and at least in CORE are a friendly bunch. Sorry that I am skeptical, but the fact that there has been zero confirmations of this weapon and only one person in all of the NA/PC game has ever seen one just does not make any sense. It is not a lot to ask for confirmation and it sure would be a lot more fun doing a siege if I knew that a Volge LMG could drop.

the volge battle rifle mk1 is only available from the 1 time side mission it is a unique one of a kind gun (at least so far) just like other "named weapons" from other "missions" it does not drop no mater how much damage you do in volge sieges or what teir you get to ..
it is already significantly op as it is comes with 4 mod spots! those players that insist on synergy on a weapon simply do not know how to play...with the correct ego lvl as well as load out perks im able to get about 1.2k- 1.5k dmg off it in a non crit shot i also have 21 rounds in the mag ..= thats 27300 dmg average not including crits...per clip at 500 rounds that is 650,000 dmg at a median of 1.3k dmg per shot! which i typically get more ..esp on those beloved scrappers and dark matter head shots :)
