Beta NDA Lifts on March 22nd, 2013
is it ok to make live streams on twich tv during the beta testing ?

Only business models and features revealed by Trion via their live streams. Any game play and content knowledge gained from alpha and beta, no.

2) Can we take videos/screenshots during alpha/beta to publish them later when NDA is lifted?
No idea on number 1, but in the stream it was said you can indeed take videos and keep them private until the NDA is lifted.Quote:

An NDA is foreva', there is no "lifting" of it. There's a reason game companies don't want Alpha or Beta info leaked. Just enjoy the experience of testing and quit plotting to violate your NDA :)

As I say, I'm sure common sense will cover most of it, but there are some things that differ from game to game, like some allow you to say you've played it, but not what it was like. Not that I'd have anything bad to say anyway.
What about sounds of the game?
As a rule of thumb NDA prohibits the PUBLISHING of any material related to the IP until said NDA is lifted.
Once its lifted, you can create comparisons of old to new, show your characters to other people and anything related to the IP but profiting from it (cause Copyright).
Source? I've been beta testing quite a few games in my time. (I'd be happy if a community manager would take their time to confirm or correct me.)

There's a lot of that (NDA breaching) going on. Rather annoying. This forum has almost a full page of threads discussing bugs and such when they should be in the beta forums. :\Quote:

bit harsh there in the end but i would agree in that, you agree to not disclose, if you willingly break that agreement, you should be banned from playing. Of course, this is pretty hard to implement. So i would hope that with Trions kindness that we would show the same respect back to them.Quote:
