    diablo 3 will kill Defiance
time outs, hard locks, glitches, bugs, crappy dlc and even crappier raptor , all this and so much more make defiance cannon fodder 4 diablo 3. how can trion keep putting out an inferior product with so many issues and not expect ppl to jump ship. i gave this game every chance to live up 2 it's potential but it fell short every time. defiance is dead...long live diablo 3

So a game that came out before Defiance is going to kill Defiance?

    Makes sense.

Makes perfect sense (sarcasm). I know he is talking about the one coming to consoles, but the existing one for PC tanked badly. Out of 3,311 customer reviews on Amazon, 1,795 people gave it a 1 star rating. That's more than all the other stars combined. I'm not thinking that the console version will fair any better. Also, not everyone is interested in the same things so I don't see tons of people playing a sci fi shooter flocking to a demonic medieval game.

The irony in that is as well NBC being of Comcast which is as we know heavily invested in Trion/Defiance.

However, it really doesnt matter... its like saying the apple killed the orange. No one single game will be the killer of Defiance or some other game. Each game will/can be the cause of its own demise.

NBC is of Comcast, and Syfy is of NBC.

Anyway, I enjoyed Diablo 3 enough that I didn't feel like I wasted my money on it. However, I agree that there is no game out there that will kill Defiance. The hard to swallow truth is that, so far, Trion Worlds is already managing to do that without another game's help.

A while back I got the chance to play around with D3 for a bit, and I gotta say I would honestly be more likely to buy another copy of D2 and start playing that again before i would do anything with D3. The 3rd installment of the franchise was a huge failure.

Yep. Basically that D3 isn't a third person shooter. I'm more likely play the games side by side, if I had the time. At the moment the only thing that will kill Defiance is Defiance.
