Nope I don't think there will be since it wasn't implemented into the last beta. While I'm not sure how fast they worked and given it was old I don't think there will be one? Although I could be totally wrong and suddenly there is a cover system upon release.

You can find cover in the game only not like in gears of war. But you can use a lot of obstacles as cover. Keeps you from dying.
I dont have a problem with no cover system cover systems can be annoying if the dont get it right. Like in mass effect. Im okey with cover in defiance

I just hope they keep pvp and pve separate so to say. lets say a weapon comes out and is OP for PVP I understand nerfing it possibly but why in pve? if it is in pve and is verpowered then make the enemies stronger problem solved.
Yeah this game would not work well with a snap to cover system. Some of the enemies are extremely quick and a lot of them will come from behind you or throw grenades if you are in one area too long. Snap to cover works in situations where the enemies come from one direction. You clear an area and go on to the next, this game has enemies popping from everywhere and so a snap to cover would be more hindrance than help.
That's my thoughts on it. Feel free to have your own. ;)
