Did anyone else keep their Defiance postcards?
I have a feeling they're going to be worth money someday.

Cult classics and popular things are worth money... Don't bank on the Defiance postcard being worth money, a lot of people still think Assassin's Creed lunchboxes will be worth money.

The only games you should ever buy limited edition things on are the Dead Space numbered collectors editions, Borderlands numbered collectors editions, or anything that is a sure seller/popular cult following, and is ACTUALLY fairly limited.

If you ordered like the Tabula Rasa limited edition box set, that would be worth more than anything Defiance, unless you know, Trion closes it's doors. Anything that was a big deal and a total failure is worth something to someone down the road. So save your "Vote of Romney" election buttons. :P

The value of them will only go up when this game fails.

Just look at E.T. back on the 2600. It's quite possibly the worst video game of all time. Now a cartidge sells for at least $40 online. That's double it's inital value in only a 30+ year timespan.

If I sit on these postcards for a few decades then I've basically got my retirement covered.

I collect postcards as a hobby. I loved getting them with this game.

I even make "new" postcards to mail to friends/family using the old-fashioned pen-pal system. (I even use a fountain pen!)

There's a reason why they say "stay in school".
