Mastered Weapon but no bonus stats?

Hi all,

Quick question if I may, im ego 4k+ and recently ive mastered 4-5 wpns and they have no bonus stats on them?

Can this happen or is this a bug? never had it before so wasnt sure if prev ive just been lucky or if when mastering a wpn if this is an additional random roll of the dice thru RNG you need to look out for.

Reason i ask is a i got nice legendary in particular, good stats, was excited to see wha bonus stat i would get once mastered and gutted when nothing popped out at the end of grinding it.

Your help would be appreciated so I know i can destroy these weapons and focus on others with the full stats available.

All sorts of strange bugs right now, I just added a mod slot to a legendary pistol, ark salvage was subtracted for adding the slot as usual. But the weapon just straight up disappeared from inventory.

I noticed that also, it started happening after the DLC. I have two mastered guns with no bonus.
I would`t destroy those weps, maybe they`l fix it.
Also noticed that now the weapons given from quests are now with the bonus mastery fixed. They are no longer random day after day.
Keep them, i`m going to keep mine. Hoping.

I was posting about the leveled weapons with no (or blank) mastery bonus since a week or two before the DLC, (and it was happening before that) so the DLC didn't cause it. But the DLC did cause some or many of those mastered weapons to reset to 'unmastered' so I had to level it again.

I'd have to agree. I have seen this happen randomly on weapons since I began playing, in May. I've reset mastery on weapons that show no bonus and re-leveled the again in hopes of getting a bonus; no such luck. The weapons missing bonuses never seem to get them. However, I am not sure if there is no bonus or if the bonus simply doesn't show up. Wouldn't it be interesting if all our no bonus weapons just have a null string in their bonus descriptions? Maybe all those with a blank description have some uber bonus that we are just unaware of? :cool:

I think this happens to weapons that went into the claim items section of the Defiance store. I wish they would fix that, I too have a pretty good weapon that doesn't have any mastery bonus.

Better yet, I wish they would allow us to reroll mastery bonuses...

I know where this bug comes from, I already reported it but nothing happened... If you want to reproduce it, here are the steps :

- Manage to have your inventory full
- Buy a T2/T3/T4 lockbox or complete a Siege or a major Arkfall.
- The weapons rewarded will go in your Claim Items section.
- After making some room in your inventory, claim the weapons and level them
- Bingo, once leveled your weapons don't have mastery bonus. Note that reseting them seems not to work.

Holy crap! This explains perfectly why selected weapons of mine are broken (no mastery bonuses unlocking) including all my legendaries!

Thanks for the info, good to know exactly what the cause of this problem is that Trion is incapable of fixing.
