If the checklist included taping the cable to the floor (and it should) then people wouldn't be tripping over it.
Well, considering that there are the TWO of them here, not including their spouses who are off doing their own thing, they actually don't have anyone to "assign to stand there and watch things." I think you're overestimating how many people from Trion are at PAX (protip: the number is 2).
I don't know how many Trion people were at PAX this year. If the answer is only two, and both of them had to be on camera at the same time, that would seem to be an issue right there. You're assuming that no one from Trion COULD have been watching the PC. I'm assuming that someone SHOULD have been watching it.
They have said that they were reducing their con budget to a minimal level. They even got flack for attending PAX at all, and had to justify themselves by saying that they were committing as little resources as possible (which is how we know that it was just the two of them). Sometimes what you should do and what you can afford to do are not the same thing. Again, hindsight and perfect scores...
I'm at PAX, sitting in my hotel room before attending day 4. I'm going to go take a video of the Twitch booth today to show folks the layout, since you're so interested.
I've also hung out with Elizabeth and Greg. There is only two.
Edit: soz, I misunderstood as I was trying to pack at the same time. I see your point, but at the same time I don't agree with it. It's their job to be on camera, and it's not the Twitch staff's job to watch their stuff. It's hectic as hell around the booth and as much as you don't like it, mistakes happen. COuld it have been better? Probably. Would it have? I doubt it.
