OMG how can a game be launched and have no customer service available. I paid 140 dollars the game is going and /I'm going too be forced to wait till 8 am tomorrow to play. And you would think that there would be another way to get your security passwords other than chatting with a live person. you figured that maybe they should have set it up so they could be E-mailed to your Email address that is connected to your account.
In all seriousness...technically...the game hasn't LAUNCHED, per say. It seems that this may in fact be the final "testing" period. In which case...calm the fork down.

and it's more of a test launch.
the game is not technically live yet, theres a sticky that says the servers are in test mode and can be brought down at any time and there may be patches before launch, they are opening them early to stress test them and fix any bugs so that they are stable for launch.
Well, the patcher says, "Welcome to Defiance! The game has not launched yet, we look forward to having you join us on April 2nd at 8am."
Despite the threads, the game hasn't launched yet so I wouldn't be too indignant at this point.
Wow people actually contact customer service for a stupid game? What has this world come to. Also the games not even out so why would they have a CS right now anyways?? And by security password i'm assuming your meaning the stupid questions like "who was your fav teacher"? If so just try resetting your password since that usually works on most sites or maybe using one's that you might actually remember.
Does not translate to Launch. The game may be live, but as others have said, there is possibility of wipe, most are locked out, patch speeds are horrendous, and LAUNCH is still scheduled for midnight EST.Quote:

Uh, the game offically launches April 2nd the person that was streaming has nothing to do with any official launch, Trion is likely getting all the resources prepped for tomorrow and some people have been able to get on and play, this is not uncommon for a major go live. Just sayin..

Like one of the devs said , this is what they would calla soft launch , and then indicated tot est the servers and tweak it out a bit , something along them lines so they can have a smooth launch how ever there have been a few issues which if they allowed every one in atm it would be a **** storm of complaints that they would rather patch before the official launch , kudos to trion worlds for trying to buffer a smooth launch ::)

At least you can log in. I'm being told that the game I downloaded directly from Trion online (Digi-deluxe) is not entitled to play Defiance. I like to think that my $100 should give me at least something resembling access to the game. I downloaded a standard version for my son and that's working fine... logged in, patched etc. Makes me sad.
