So...getting down to the last set of weapon skills I need to max. Which BMG's & Infectors do you feel are the best and why? Yes, it I know it comes down to player skill but I don't plan on trying to understanding them more after I've maxed them. I prefer conventional ammo weapons, so i will just be using them to max the skill level.
I have been using a Canker to get my infectors to level 10 for the pursuit. While soloing it was great as it does loads of damage.
For Arkfalls I'd swap to a different one though, that spawns more parasites, as those will hunt down the enemies spawning behind you.
Keep running scrapworks salvage co-op map since the forge enemies tend to give a lot of weapon exp just shoot their eye crit and tail crit. It is really just a grind for these two weapon types.
VBI BM-4 Stingray or any BMG that deals damage AND heals. Also look for one that allows multiple links. Very easy to level when you can get numbers from both sides of the battle. :)
I have been using mine for a little over a week now and im at lvl 6 doing mostly arkfalls and volage sieges. But I tend to only play on weekends due to my work schedule. Scrappers do rock for lvling the gun.

It depends whether you accept to farm in order to max them or if you prefer to play... Conventionnaly.
If you accept to farm, the best spot is probably SQ Hulker. For him, use a FRC Tele-Spanner with -0.06 DMG Charge and increased DMG/s (with a mod, for example) or an VBI INF-3 Canker with increased DMG (not Bug DMG). Take care with the Canker, you need not to kill the Hulker if you want to farm him efficiently (by suiciding and extracting once he's very low on health in order to reset him).
If you don't want to farm, use a VBI BM-4 Stingray in heal mode during Arkfalls (the Dark Matter ones are very nice for that). For INF, either a Canker or an Invader (your call there, but Canker seem more efficient) on any coop-map, the best ones being Soleptor Excavation, Explosions 101 and Scrapworks Salvage (Hulker, Hulker and Forges with no Hellbugs). However, know that if maxing INFs without farming is completely doable (and not so hard to do), it's an other story for BMGs : if you don't farm, those things take forever to go to level 20...

INVADER was best for me for leveling infectors to 10 (and this is good weapon anyway - I like SMG style stuff).
BMG was pain until I found way to macro them.
Just do storyline (or redo it) until you find any instanced mission (there is 2-3 of them - mostly in bunkers).
Let mobs kill your NPC friends, if you have any in this mission, next kill all mobs except 1-2. Jump on crate etc (no way for mobs to mele you), grab BMG and block right mouse button (if you dont know how to do this with soft, use scotch tape^^).
Mob will keep shoting you while you will heal self.
After ~1hour switch mastered BMG to "clear" one and repeat.
IMO this is much better way than hulker way.
btw: you can try do this also in "open world" but mobs many times deagro, respawn and kill you or someone kill them while you are afk. Instanced missions are best for this.
