So I haven't really heard much about the new one other than the fact that you can spawn your own arkfall wherever? Anyone know what else will be included in the second DLC other than the arkfall? I'm hoping for a new storyline.

Might not be any more DLC's? Yeah it's pretty sad how fast so many people lost interest, I honestly am patient with this game because of how much I actually enjoy it.
They stated the things so far would be the on demand arkfalls but haven't elaborated as to just how the team would be selected that would go into the ship in them--the arkfalls end up with a team going into the ship that's fallen and doing basically a sort of coop horde. You will likely have to buy the stick or whatever it is at vendors in order to do this, but all mechanics have yet to be fully explained.
The other change is to grenades with a different mechanic that's been created. You will have stacks of grenades that are limited in supply. To guarantee you can keep using the same grenade (say you have an orange frag grenade), you will buy more stacks from vendors. If you don't want to run out of grenades and have those stacks full, you also can get this other thing (spikes or sticks or stims) that will allow for guaranteed drops or the guaranteed replenishment of grenades--smart loot grenade drops--they will not guarantee you get the same grenade you have equipped (so you might get more orange frag grenade stacks, but you might not)--they guarantee you will have more grenades of the same rarity or lower.
Beyond that, you can decide to not buy anything and hope you'll find grenade loot on the ground (could be white, green, blue, whatever and may be any type). But if right now you only have white frags, the devs have not said whether picking up any random grenade loot on the ground that might be better than what you have, allows you to "keep" that grenade type so you can buy stacks at vendors.
If I'm not making sense, please tell the devs this. Because this is the best I can figure out of what they've said about it and how it will work.
Their reasons for doing this were not based upon player complaint or anything rational I can think of but include.
Risk/reward benefits--I don't know what they're referring to here but apparently weapons don't matter so much as do grenades that had no risks that offset the rewards so they have to be tweaked by changing their availability in some convoluted manner that no one can coherently explain.
Clutter-our inventory is too cluttered with grenades and this cannot continue. A minor point but one given in the explanation.
Every axis on all grenades is off or not fitting well in the scheme of the game. Ok, you got me here. I take this to mean the damage, tick damage, refresh, and det time and all that is messed up so in order to fix all that we need them to be limited in supply.
People keep missing targets with their grenades-so of course that's fixed by limiting the supply of them-you can't miss with something you don't have.
People want to try other grenades but can't do so now--they needed some way to allow players to get a chance to try other grenades. Again, huh?!! Yes, limiting the supply of them and overhauling the mechanics of how they're obtained and replenished makes it more likely I will get to use all those white frags I've been longing to use but never could find.
People can't create optimized strategies based on their grenade usage now--basically they can't use grenades as part of an overall strategy. Ok, double huh?!! I'm pretty sure that being able to incorporate grenades into some sort of strategy might be based on being certain which type of grenade you will have on hand at any given time.

Essentially so far what the next DLC will contain are more arkfalls with sort of coop/arena horde modes inside "ships" and new limited supply grenade mechanics for somewhat dubious reasons. With spikes, stims, sticks, stacks, and so on. Not thrilling.
Very informative, thank you. That's pretty disappointing about the grenades because I personally don't mind the cool down. As stated on that thread, they said we will not lose our grenades when it reaches 0, but simply have to refill for a price. As much as I like how it is now, I guess I can live with these changes, not like voting against it would change their mind. The arkfall ship thing sounds really fun actually, that brings a whole new positive playing experience. The only thing I really ask for in a new DLC is a new storyline, that's longer than the first one, but since I don't see that coming anytime soon these add on's will have to suffice lolol. Thank you!
Until the day comes that I can ride a hellbug into battle this game will not feel complete to me.

- Instanced Arkfalls, fight outside, fight inside.
- Volge Raid Boss
- Ark Spikes, currency to call down the arkfalls
- Grenade changes
- Clan / Team / Enemy indicator arrows
- Spikes, deployable boosts such as DMG increase, or ammo regen
- Stims, self-use things like a heal
- UI changes
- Clan improvements (progression system to improve rewards)

I really hope there is alot more content to go with this patch dlc apart from casti fell short especially story from removing the episode ones ( which i missed out on )
well thats ok for the free stuff but no way that would be cool for the paid content, they need to expand the map also dlc should include a continuation of the story and some more side quests, i've only been plating for just over a month and already i find myself just standing around or doing the same old c*** and it's getting very old very quick
oh and keeping the series quests as a timed thing is just stupid, just saying trion there are other games out there so get off your collective a**'s and make some REAL content for the game not just c*** that should have been in the game from day one..... cos remember if people don't play no more overpriced micro transactions or people buying the dlc (really feel for those that bought the season pass) i was going to buy the season pass and to be honest i'm so glad i didn't, i will happily pay for each pack if i feel it's worth the money but if dlc 1 is anything to go on i'll be keeping my cash.
don't get me wrong i really love the game and really hope it has a long life as with the show, but the game has problems, don't know what the devs were thinking but the map size is a joke feels no bigger than some of the old gta games, to give you an idea i have 2 accounts 1 ego 3200 and the other just under 500, the 1st one i have played through the story 5 times each time it get easier and easier countless time in rampages and all the other rubbish side stuff and i feel like i could play in my sleep
COME ON DEV's if you want our money put some effort in and make future DLC worth the money otherwise things don't look good for this game in the long term.
