i had same prob i download client from trion and had same message pop up.. did password change,apply code still didnt work , i bought game threw steam and waited for install to show up and finally did when i click to install ..click on new icon and type username/ password it work and now installing game....if this helps anybody..but still cant play till 8am >.<
That launcher note is outdated, actually. It should have been up for at least an hour or two officially. :] (the 8am message has been said to be incorrect several times)Quote:

Oh and no, the PW change didn't work for me neither so i'm just waiting it out untill hopefully the server updates and registers it.... Oh wait... I got an emaile stating that my PW was changed... Still can't login and now it says invalid PW..
I'd expect that they'd sort out most of these launch issues after launching one mmorpg already but it seems like developers all around the world never learn from past mistakes and try to correct it in order to avoid the same launch issues in the future for other future titles.
Must be a contageous disease or some form of mental disorder. :rolleyes:
I don't care about the fact that others have been able to log in and play ahead of me, but i do care about not being able to log in at all to patch the client and not being able to even join the game on launch day after pre-ordering (Deluxe edition at that 69€ EUR).
Did you logout of the Trion website AFTER changing PW?
changing pass might help, but you need to check with your gamecode what you have put in. If it says pre-order nothing you do will help you since you don't have the game serial. If it says game xxxx then you are good and then it can help you with the pass change / subbing to the news letter.
If only pre-order listed under account you are tough out of luck.

Trion should have put something out about this instead of letting it fester holiday or not there game is launching an they should be there to want it to be smooth and i dunno saying oh by the way the servers dont really open till 8 AM est ur time thats why u cant log in would have gone ALONG way instead of having to sit in support an shoot emails back an forth
Not where I live. Here in europe we take holidays seriously. In Denmark, the stores and post were closed on Thursday, Friday, Sunday, & Monday. Only on Saturday could we shop and even then there was no post. The postal service was off for 5 days.Quote:

Im also from Denmark and everything is closed for holliday ;) Patience plp. Its easter holliday in California US to. The only thing that kinda piss me off is the time is 10:55AM here in DK and its 04:55AM in California US. The lauch date is 2 of April! In my mind I would launch at 11:59PM.

This is what we call a staggered release based off time zone kiddos. If you all logged on at once you would be QQing about not being able to get in. Staggered releases are much more stable than global releases with everyone trying to log in at the same moment.
I'd just like to confirm, same exact issue/resolution for me. I'm guessing along the same lines, something on the authentication server needs a refresh to be forced.Quote:

I bought the CD Key from a site it was emailed to me, I then applied the code yesterday and kept getting this error from launcher, today on my trion account under previous codes applied it shows defiance and my old rift code, I have tried resetting my password many times but i still get the not entitled error, my friends bought the game from steam had this issue at first but they fixed and are downloading im still trying to find a way to fix this any help??
