rebuttal - its a good tactic to keep alive, though I don't like the stealth exposure. Use the decoy skill for that.
2) Infectors - Auto aim, damage over time is outrageous.
rebuttal - none, not particularly challenging unless caught in the open, learn to hug walls/objects and break line of sight.
3) Stealth - It is op with ego regen rolls, unfair advantage over those starting out in pvp, insta shield regen. perhaps one of the largest deterrents to starting up in this game.
rebuttal - use decoy with stealth exposure, or be a jerk and use the bmg trick. Or suck it up and use stealth like 75% of the pvp-ers. Dmg over time weapons help keep these people exposed. So there is a draw back to using stealth.
4) Detenators - Over powered damage, to wide of a dmg radius, "noobtuber"
rebuttal - being a "noobtuber" I hate the speedy players, if i can get a lead on you then i can do some dmg, but those who keep changing directions are the smart ones. Most people use these boomers ineffectively anyway. So throw on the blast radius reduction perk and you can usually get them before they get you.
5) Cerberus - Easy kills for body lagging. Yes this is an op complaint. I hear ppl crying all the time that this is unfair. On the other end, and grouping in the runners, the knock back/down response is frustrating.
rebuttal - don't stand in the open like an idiot. Or use the cerberus at your own risk.
6) Charged snipers - in conjunction with stealth, this is a one shot killer. Long range campers can get annoying too.
rebuttal - keep moving constantly, bunny hop if you have to. This is also a deterrent to stealthers as well. Its common sense, but too often i see people run in straight lines or not hopping when they should.
7) Shotguns - Sawed offs with stealth are really op in dmg (one shot killer). This is one of the biggest go to weapons that those crying "op big-boomers and cankers." Guess what? If you use these, you are no different than those big-boomers. In fact, you're probably using less skill than those using big boomers. At least they have to aim instead of getting up in someones face, all stealthy and one shotting them. Grindfraggers/fraggers are no better. We go for the high fire rate ones for the same effect. Little more skill to use than sawed offs though.
rebuttal - same as with stealth, decoy stealth exposure, keep them at a distance and they are ineffective.
8) Pulsers/smgs - same with fraggers, high fire rate makes these easy to use to strip someone down in less than 3 seconds. Usually this is used on people distracted and thus no reaction from the target.
rebuttal- be aware of your surroundings. Keep panning the camera around your character when not fighting someone and you can usually catch these people, unless stealthed but you should know how to handle that by now.
9) Fragnades - One shot killer, op with short det times.
rebuttal - bring some lube, or its gonna hurt. Really no way around this if a good player tosses one at ya.
10) Bunny hopping - No aim penalties for certain weapons, "cowardly" way to play, especially with modded controllers to auto jump (I've seen quite a few people contantly jumping w/o any breaks. Even spent a day stealth following certain people in pvp to see if they ever stopped).
rebuttal - let me take you out in the desert and fire some shots at you while telling you not to bunny hop/roll/ or dodge. Use some slowing effect weapons to keep these people rooted. Or just quit. This game is like halo in pvp aspects. Go play another one if you don't like how this is played.
