I have tried this too but no good. Although there was one patch that I could not delete for some reason. Strange.

You might want to uninstall the game apart from your beta save. Then play the game disc and install the game when the game prompts you. Worked for me.

still can't get in, whats this they fixed this issue on some other threads?

they tweeted that the issue was fix but I'm still seeing no signs of this.

got more of an issue with the missions than the actual connection, not lagging at all
