I had this a bunch of hours ago, but relogging seemed to fix it.

It may take a while! Just relax, sit back and play the game while you check your redeemable items every now and then. :] There's a massive influx of players logging on and clogging the shop(and game) servers right now.

wasn't really referring to you or anything but anyways you can check if you filled in the codes at your account management perhaps you missed it dunno.
If you pre-order through steam then you have two CD-keys and both need to be filled in the apply code at your account management.
I've worked in software development for a few years, and it's a hobby of mine (developped a small 2d ORPG not too long ago), I know that nothing ever works out as planned.
