Defiance service not available?

I login just fine. Get to my character and hit play... It starts to load the map, but then it times out and disconnects me saying Defiance service isn't available.

Servers down?

Hardly a bug, more like the servers being overloaded and us timing out. :]

Any workaround yet for this bug? I have tried relogging a few times.

As I said, it is no bug I'm afraid. We'll have to get lucky or wait for the servers to stabilize!

what would a mmo be with out server instability

I just created a new character and I got into the server just fine. I think it's a bug, cause my main still can't login.

Pretty sure this isn't related to server stability. I've chatted with a friend who was playing while I was getting the Service not Available. he logged out, killed the patcher restarted and logged on in a couple times while I still kept getting the error.

same proplem maybe the game hasnt taken into considoration the clocks going forward this forum is behing by an hour

The game is up and running, folks are in. has nothing to do with clocks, servers or anything like that. it's either a disconnect with our accounts on Trion's end or a hardware config on our end. I've added both the patcher and defiance.exe to the windows firewall inbound (both TCP and UDP), disabled the firewall forwarded the ports via my router...nothing's fixed it.
