My problems with Deiance

Let me first start by saying that I love the game, and I think the television show is great. My complaint is that when I do a siege or an arkfall I get kicked off the server close to the end of those events. Trion keeps sending me e-mails basically saying that problems are on my end. I know that many other players are having the same problems. Another thing that happened is that the people who are in the tech support seemed not to want to help me, and when I followed the instructions that they wanted me to. They sent me an e-mail telling me all about my plug-ins, and natstatic. I already knew that kind of stuff, and most gamers already know how to fix problems like that.

For what it's worth, I almost never get kicked during a Siege or Arkfall. However, I almost ALWAYS get kicked within about 10 minutes AFTER completing one of them. That makes me thing that it is, indeed, something on the player end, since, while most of us have some kind of disconnect problem, they don't always occur at the same time, just revolving around similar, processing-heavy events.

I find that when I get a critical error, its always when there is lots of activity on my internet or when I have a low signal from my router.

I get kicked off the game when there is little activity on my internet. I have found that when I get kicked or have problems it is when there are a lot of people in the siege, and arkfall. So this leads me to believe that it is a trion server problem. I know people who have excellent signals, and still they kicked off. It is very frustrating to play game that has achievements in it, and to know that you have come close to completing them. Only to get kicked off while getting close to completing these achievements. I have also been in an xbox live party where people have been kicked off doing many other things on the game. Again I think this game is good, and the idea for the game is excellent. My problem is how the tech support first started handling the problem with me. I have now received a second e-mail stating the same thing that it stated in the first one. According to trion one of the patches supposedly fixed the problem where people are getting kicked off, and it did not.

So I took a break from the game, and decided to comeback this weekend and play. Well I did siege, and the game kicked me off again. So I am either thinking about selling my copy of the game, or just breaking it. I have recommended this game to friends, but now I am thinking about just taking to social websites and protesting the game. This is until they get it fixed, and acknowledge that this has happened to others, and is not the gamers fault. Again the game is a good game, but with major problems. This is one of the main reasons they are losing players to other games. I like the show, and the game but its to the point where it has become a waste of my gaming time. Also I am looking at the screen now, and only see the basic outfits from people around me. There are no aliens just humans. I know the forum will delete this soon, and maybe this is in vain. Somebody needs to hear it.

the problem is not your internet sir. run a tracert and you will be able to tell. the game lags so much. they know it. that is why they hacked the MS code and got caught when the dlc was gunna be out and they tried to blame it on a MS patch.

they try to do short cuts all the time and get caught. and when the Lead dev finds out, they get fired(watch out Trick your next).

this is my thoughs and it is a fact. this post will get removed cause it has truth in it. and i will get a perma ban, but hey oh well. that is what i get foe spending 250 bucks on a game that is within 6 months 5 bucks.

I used to get kicked and the critical error msg would pop up but then I used a wired connection and now that has all stopped.
I mainly only get disconnected due to the server being down now and that seems less seldom now.
