part of main mission to san fransisco and not the big bad boss in that area

I tried getting a group of people to fight it but pre-launch it wouldn't take damage.

We were trying to hit it yesterday for a bit but our weapons did no damage.

I wonder if that thing took down the strato carrier we were on?

If you notice in the art work, the Golden Gate is shattered in several pics, but whole again in others. So, I'd say that ties into what the Dark Matter vehicle is trying to stop.

I've heard Beta players say that you can't get by it until you complete the Main Missions that take you to San Fransisco.

Definitely NOT end-game boss. You'll have to fight one or two throughout the storyline...... :D

Just a blocker for you not getting to san fran until your at that point in the story. You don't actually fight it, torc blows it up. Then you can cross the bridge. San fran's main enemy is dark matter, an alien species bent on killing everyone who isn't like them. Not much of san fran left anyway. Final boss's name is Nim, he's a bad alien. Use a bmg to kill him on final mission, so easy.

This is Indeed a Sad Day.. I was hoping for something Epic to come out of it like a World Boss. Apparently not.

I saw that thing yesterday when I was exploring the world if you look at the map after the bridge there a whole another section being guard maybe it's the actual city of San Francisco, that's what I'm thinking.

Mainly because this game isnt an end game centric game given its tie in with the show. I'd like to think on it as that this is just the end of the first part of the book if you will.

LMAO I ran into him in the beta while Looking for the Golden Gate. lol Almost got passed him. Wonder if I could get past him with a fully ranked up Challenger.

No End Game will result in Nothing to do because you've completed everything possible whilst leveling up to 5000 Ego whilst following the story of some Show for a Month or two. Brilliant, Wonder what we're going to do whilst we're waiting for Season 2 :) I guess Replay it all again on a New Character? Epic Idea! Thats End Game Content for you.

this is part of the main story line going into the next area. it does not take damage because you never fight it, it gets destroyed with an air strike
