Ok, I will say this, I golded this while I was in the 400-500's I believe. But, one thing you have to do is since you have a limited area I found that jumping helps alot. You definitely want fortitude and thick skinned, but the number one item you need is a respark or rebel. Both have quick recharge, and I don't care about the percentage, because if mine breaks I go behind one of the many walls in the middle and get it recharged instantly almost. And I do not know if he mentioned it above, and I do not remember the name, but in general perks that activate when shield breaks will help you here.
For this one, I got gold on second try. I am not sure but I believe hitting the black rooster gave you same ammo. One thing that helps, is when you are aiming at the chickens on the fence, go one in front of the farmer, every pole he passes spawns another chicken. Aim ahead of him and shoot as you follow him. All you have to make sure of really is that your multiplier does not get reset. Otherwise this has been easiest "trial" mission I have done so far.
I will ask this though, anyone have tips for the Time Trial Mine Alley? I keep having problems with it bugs and glitches. But outside of that, I just have trouble pulling the turn right before the end of the lap. I always hit the rock before the ring, or pass it by a mile.
is draw the line the one with the mutants and the LMG? I just hug the rock, stay crouched most of the time, aim in, and shoot things faces off. Remember to kill the big mutants when you see them, as i recall there's a huge number of targets just before the end and if you don't focus on those delicious blue point pinatas you wont make it.
My strategy usually has me getting killed in the last few seconds but it doesn't matter as golds gold.
The lessons learned here on how to not get yourself killed will help in several other rampages, the one in SF with the minigun and the one with the minigun and the raiders come to mind. Its all about working cover to keep you alive.
I found draw the line easy. I find there are FAR more annoying and frustrating rampages/challenges than that one.
I'm looking at you the one where you kill hellbugs with a rocket that breaks into smaller explosives!
Also the driving challenges suck. It's like the jumping puzzles in GW2. Some mechanics don't work well in MMOs, especially when confined within a "challenge". lol
Thanks everyone for all the tips, with your help I managed to beat. I got 30525 (ran out of time, could have got more). With the advice of perks, and crouching and aiming at legs and letting the recoil do the work, plus took out shotgunners first, I managed. Thanks:cool:
