Hardly. Loot boosts mean more whites that fill up my inventory and cause me to waste more time vendoring or breaking them down.
Now if the loot boosts actually increased the quality and not the quantity, then sure.
If they want to do a boost weekend, they need to do more skill boosts.

In case there's any confusion as to what I'm saying, the OP cares about scrip and the cost of oranges, whereas two out of 3 platforms, in general, do not.
