Hardly. Loot boosts mean more whites that fill up my inventory and cause me to waste more time vendoring or breaking them down.
Now if the loot boosts actually increased the quality and not the quantity, then sure.
If they want to do a boost weekend, they need to do more skill boosts.

What it really needs is variables in the total loot table. Shields and grenades have this already, some can have higher damage/shield strength, lower timers on regen or higher area of damage.
Why can't weapons have similar ? Higher/lower recoil/damage/mag size/rate of fire and distance dropoff.
Yes group loot buffs should be added, its almost a rule of thumb with most mmorpgs now that you get increased chance of more quality items in a group. I don't think increasing the quantity is needed just as per on most mmo's increase the chance to find quality items.
Im not a fan of loot/exp days for the simple fact that one must keep every one happy, there are loads of people who just wont be able to make it online during the weekend or what ever day its set. Loot/exp bonus should be kept to the cash shop if people want to earn extra then one should support the game (if they can) via the shop.
edit, group buffs provide the community a reason to play with randoms, but the chat needs fixed before we can see an influx of community spirit.

There are perks that increase loot drop perks, so no point wasting money on a loot boost. Buffing loot boosts won't get people back, because it is not new content. They already said they are NOT expanding the map in Dlc 2. Loot boost sometimes quit working when you go to a different face. Hmm did I forget anything els that would poke holes in your beliefs? Isn't the bum's rush out the door, better than them rushing UP YOUR bum? I do agree something else to do after completing the storyline for us non or ocassional PvPers would be nice, but a stupid loot boost isn't it, and if they are going to give us loot boosts then they should increase our inventory space. I am at 63, because I am not wasting my money on a couple inventory slots, when it's easier to just scrap or sell items and get new ones, witch I can already do without a useless loot boost, very regularly.Quote:
