Just wait and see. People will be trading nice oranges for the purple mods. Its pre-patch Mod days again. The people that work and make money will be buying purples, and trading them for all those pretty little 6 roll oranges every one wants. Anyone who has been around since the beginning remembers the same thing with blues mods and the prices they had to pay to get them, AKA Assassin Ionic barrels selling for 500k scrip.

you gonna need at least a 500k scrip or trade freshly squeezed oranges to mod up a loadout of weapons, no way you're gonna pry the mods outta people for cheap, so not only is the old oranges outdated, now you gotta buy mods that's worth more than the weapon to mod it back up... veterans, just quit now

but there are a lot less people playing now then there were before and with the state of the game and bf4 and ps4 coming out I don't see it being that big a deal

I guess it will come down to how much the mod hoards cost

Yeah, I seen the screen shot of the purple mod box. Those mods are going to be PRICEY in the aftermarket.

Where is the pic at?

A PC player just told me the new boxes are 75 keys and scrip, not sure on the amount, maybe 4k scrip or something? So luckily we won't have to fork out the bits for them.

the funny thing will be listening to the pvper's who already whine alot complain when some kid using mom and dads credit card can kick ther arse's repeatedly due to overpowered mods. expect them to be nerfed. me ill stick to blue mods,

Purple mods are gonna have a definite effect on all you hardcore traders. Grenadier is different now too. At least according to someone in the general discussion page. That's a real kick in the junk. Nade dmg AFTER a kill, kinda dumb.

Actually works decent, Threw my frag for 5600 points of damage
PVP people are going to cry bad now. One hit kill from a frag....lol

Must be a ghost town where you are, Brianflipside. I only know of you and QueenyGia being able to get on after deleting the old patch data and reinstalling. Been trying the last hour and now the devs say another 2.5hrs from now.

I suppose the increased nade dmg would be handy in mob situations where getting one kill first results in the nade doing more dmg to the rest. Of course, this ruins the element of surprise which is what i liked about the current nades: nade first and then spray 'em with an AR.

Oh well, 2.5hrs of playing Blur while Trion attempts to fix this...

Trion is kinda silly huh? No wonder they didn't announce this patch and associated changes beforehand - if they'd have given me a bit of time I could have pointed out the issues and gotten everyone properly riled up. And now folks can't get online? But just PS3? LOL

I try to give them the benefit of the doubt but they are making this too hard. I think I may just take another break from this.
