**Scrip is almost completely useless**

so as most of yall have heard, during the extra life event people were buying the shield from the vendor and turing around and selling it for more in which this case makes you alot of scrip. I know alot of people that have done this without no hesitation. But this effects all the trading because now the prices of mods and weapons and such cost way more because of that explicit. I found out about this a couple of hours after the fact it left for good. So what im saying is is that its useless besides for buying mods and for people that love scrip, and lock boxes. Anyway, think twice before selling something now.

I hope it doesn't affect the in-game market though I'm seeing mods going for over 300k too often in-game so.... haven't noticed much difference in weapon value though.

I did it, but didn't go crazy just got a few hundred k for selling are patch weapons then a few more for buying mods later. Heard a rumor that they stole scrip from people for exploiting this. If they took from me for trying to balance back out after the whole pre patch debacle I'm done.

Rumor from where?....

I couldn't care less. I stopped buying weapons from people after the weapons patch. Waiting for the weapons prices to balance out. If it stimulated the economy it could only be a good thing.

It was a troll to see which people would take advantage of a situation in a charity. Everyone who didn't got a lock box.

I think this is why they are adding spikes and stims and making grenade the way the are in the Arkbreaker DLC

Can't wait to see how many people actually hold up their end of the "I'm done playing this game because they took scrip from me" deal... my guess is it won't be that many.

I love people that don't think Defiance's database tracks your every move. I think Trion gave the "our bad" treatment back when people found an exploit where you could buy the junk VBI shield from the vendor for free then break it down for salvage. They just took the vendor offline and fixed it and didn't push out any retrieval protocol. This time is the "Your bad" phase and they are taking back what shouldn't have been given out. I love it. They just check their DB for all players that sold item-x to vendor-x and strip off the difference of the sale from the offending players. Players are lucky they don't get banned, but since the game is in a pretty bad place right now, the only punishment they can afford to drop is a form of reclaim of stolen scrip.
