SCRIP MISSING: Taking to much?

The economy actually sparked up again for a day or two, and partly due to a programming error in vendor buy back coding.

Now the Area chat is blowing up about people missing scrip. Upon talking to these people, I've learned that they all took advantage of the ExtraLife vendors shield buy and sell price.

I didn't do this glitch, and so none of my scrip is gone. BUT! There's always a but... These same people that admit to taking advantage of poor programming also are missing much more scrip than they earned through the vendor.

Was this the intended punishment? Was this punishment even warranted? It was nice seeing a lot of trading going on. And it's also nice to see Trion take action against a form of cheating. But did they take it to far?

Maybe it was a troll by trion meaning that if you take advantage over something karma kicks in...

Trion shouldn't have done this...having all this script actually helped to make merchanting more lively.

To me, this a big **** you, that trion has once again implemented....

It was there fault in the first place for making the vendor exploitable, and now they are going out of their way to hunt these players down to **** them over.

As for my other friends...one of my friends actually ended up losing about 100 purple mods also, along with 8 mil scrip, where 1 scrip was actually made using the exploit, but they took ALL OF IT.

As for me...I believe I got banned for some time(since I can't log in suddenly, even though friends can), and I also most likely lost script, and maybe even some of my legendaries...

This was a stupid decision...

Not a good step for trion. Sure, give the players a slap on the wrist, but don't take all of there scrip.

Well it teaches them not to do glitches or explicits when able to, they need to earn scrip the right and fair like everyone else needs to. I have been selling mods and oranges since a couple of months ago and i have a nice fair of scrip, but people shouldnt be able to get the same or more amount of scrip than me in a matter of minutes IMO.

True, it will teach them. Teach them to quit, instead of learning a lesson I would think.

I can understand if they take away the scrip made from the exploit, but taking all of that persons scrip is a little much.

It seemed like trion was actually trying to do something nice for community who have put up with this game through what still seems like an advanced beta. Feeding the community with some script and items. Ohh that's cool. Guess it was more like an entrapment scam to kick you in the nuts again and again.

But how do we even know that this is permanent? It could be temp just to see how much scrip they took and give the rest they earned back to them.
