Give Respect and Dignity, build a GOOD COMMUNITY

I have a question for everyone, or perhaps just something to think about.
I saw Tyranno slam down a few threads today, so I would say that the "tolerance for Male Pow Shtako" appears to be tightening down and I personally don't have an issue with that.
A Lot of the Folks that I run with comport themselves with respect for others and themselves, The Dawn Patrol makes it a point to do the same. Of course, tolerance runs out and tempers rise and People will get angry - that is a given.
One of my biggest problems with what goes on here in these Forum Threads is the fundamental lack of respect for other people. I completely understand that Trion Worlds is a corporate entity that We have paid for a product. Naturally, when any consumer pays for a product and feels slighted by the producer, sure the buyer will get angry.
Totally Understandable.
Constant haraunging and snarky comments have never been helpful, nor have personal insults.
I am sure that I will get some from the "pleasant readers" on the forums.
Respect and Tolerance have ALWAYS WORKED and ALWAYS WILL.
Sure, You can PI$$ and moan all that you want but if You try and remember that Elizabeth, Greg and Trick are HUMAN FREAKING BEINGS and treat them with Respect and Dignity and maybe they will listen to You more than they do.
This doesn't apply to everyone, but if YOU are wondering if it does apply to YOU.....it probably does.

I agree with you 1000% but you know that people will now come on here and say you are drinking the Kool-Aid!

We are all people and we are all equal.....I don't understand why everything is taken so personally and seriously.....in a GAME! Anyone on here can say what they want but when you slump down into childish behavior and name calling all you are doing is making yourself look bad. Be an adult or at least try to be an adult and remember it is a game not your life. My views and posts have not changed in all my time here....I will continue to be me.

I must apologise to a few peeps as I took a great deal of amusement from winding up a couple of them. Sorry guys. :cool:

I could have swore I saw some people (not you) with "Dawn Patrol" in their sigs comport themselves without respect for others before. Maybe you got your guys in line since then.

The thing I'm not quite understanding is that their are very few insults directed at Elizabeth, Greg, and Trick on this forum. All the insults that I see are directed at the company they work for. Whenever there is criticism directed at one of them personally, it's always seems to be respectful and constructive. Maybe the real bad ones are deleted before I can see them?

I think there were a few posts today, mentioning Elizabeth and Greg, however I think they were taken a bit out of context as the current amount of hate going on in the forums has caused the moderators to go into "crisis" mode (and rightly so, we can't just let our community implode upon itself).

I just saw an article from fox news which implicated Elizabeth and Greg in liking Mudkips - true facts.

IF I had exploited the EL vendor and then been punished for it there are only two reasonable options.

1) Quietly quit the game.

2) Quietly continue playing after recovering from the punishment.

Personally, It's embarrassing and unflattering to come onto a game forum and admit to cheating in one sentence and then complain about the punishment in the next.

Unfortunately Zugo, you are one of those few that actually have a sense of fair play and self-respect. Many, if not most, gamers who willingly use exploits do not, and hence the childish tantrums when things don't go their way.

Today was definitely an exception given the events that unfolded, so I am sure there was some unwarranted insults being thrown. But still on the average, I see plenty of negative posts about Trion all the time, most of them are warranted. The truly offensive ones are always removed/closed. But just because someone is mad at Trion and gives Trion as a company criticism and negative feedback, does not mean that person is insulting Elizabeth, Greg, or Trick. Its sort of like when you call customer service and complain about a product, you are criticizing the company, not the customer service rep, unless you are real jerk.

They said during the Nov. 2 Livestream that they DESPISED Mudkips! True Story!

William, although some Dawn Patrol members can get "testy" and It is undertsandable because We all have feelings and handle things in different ways. We don't "keep them in line" because our Clan is a collection of friends and not a tyranny or anything like that. The Dawn Patrol strives to improve constantly and to get better but We all accept who We are and move on, Respect and Dignity over all.

There have been plenty of nasty personal comments and they get snipered fast.
I just would rather have a positive and helpful forum community where We all work together to build something better, and THAT is why I try to sign my "question" posts with "GET INVOLVED, so Defiance can EVOLVE."
I honestly believe in it.
