Help! Someone please answer the following question about 100% full dmg radius
Hi all this may seem like a silly question but I wanted a confirm before I bought an item. 100% full dmg radius does that mean if the target is anywhere in the blast radius they take full dmg? Also if your full dmg radius is over 100% does it increases the overall radius?

According to my notes it increases the minimum radius in which targets receive full damage, there will still be falloff damage outside of that radius.

The weapon should have a stat named "blast radius", this is the total area effected by the explosion. Within that area there are an infinite number of concentric circles, the center most one being 100% full damage radius.

    I hope that makes sense.

    Been wondering this myself.
Got a crash boomer that altogether has +1.3 full dmg radius.
Does this enlarge the whole radius?(doubt it)

No, what happens is the inner most circle that represents 100% damage is increased by 130%.

Ok that sounded confusing because I have "100%" in there.

The center most circle that represents Full damage has its size increased by 130%.

It would be nice to have some official word on this. Nilxain did a lot of research on this and posted here: http://forums.defiance.com/showthrea...e-Radius-Range

Measurements given as +.50 and +.80 like Kendillin probably has are very likely increases in meters and not a percentage increase. That would be consistent with how other weapon measurements work. Full damage radius bonuses of x1.15 and x1.20 would be percentage increases.

Would prefer they just added it to the data card so we all know for certain what the value is. C'mon TRION!

It works the same way falloff damage works but in reverse.
If you add a Power Retention Choke III which adds to your full damage range with a shotgun you are doing the same basic function as increasing full damage radius on an explosive.

I would say it works the same way falloff damage does.. period.

Also check Zewy's guide. Falloff damage which shows as '+ 8' for example is adding a measurement of 8 meters, and then there's range which works as a percentage increase but for the same bonus.

I've wondered if Stalker synergy might actually even benefit full damage radius since it is pretty much the same as range/falloff.
