Player Population Drop - Very Noticeable - PS3 NA

Hello all,

So since last week I have noticed on PS3 - North America - that the player population has dramatically dropped.

Sieges with 3-4 players, Dark Matter Arkfalls that do not even come close to finishing, even regular Arkfalls are even not finishing now...and don't even get me started on Minor Arkfalls where you are the only player.

So there are certainly a few causes for this, but I'd like to know if anyone else has noticed? Maybe even Trion?

How about doing something to bring players back?

(Y'know - like the ideas that we players post on here every day...just an thought.)

Hmm paid full price for season, Fixes not happening that much. DLC oh wait.. what DLC's. They want to wait till season 2 is on TV. There big goal is to have more people spend real money in game. That is all they care about. Hey that is not a bad thing but let us have something for the money. I myself am not one to play digital man dolls. I will not buy new armor skins that do nothing for me. If they want more people to play then they need us to want to play. Fixes , content, rewards that is how I see other games keep people playing.

LOL, what's even funnier is that I am now 99.9999995% convinced that a large percentage of the "purple dots" and multiple General Steves on your map at Arkfalls are NPCs.

Why am I convinced, you ask? Well I can, singlehandedly, almost entirely halt a Dark Matter Monitor's death by simply not shooting at it. Why is this relevant?

Because according to the map I have 100+ other arkhunters there and my not shooting should not affect the progression of the Arkfall; but it does and markedly, and repeatedly.

My bet? There are the same 3 to 4 other players at that Arkfall that are at Sieges with me and every other dot is an NPC placed there to make me feel better about server population and not just quit out of solo play boredom.

(Why don't Sieges show the hundreds of dots? - simple they were programmed later and thus the original devs idea of NPC dots was lost...as were a lot of their original intentions for this game.)

Well that's my thoughts anyway...tin foil hat firmly in place.

I will be back on tonight my man. I had to try out the PS 4 last night.

My apologies.
I have little affiliation with Steam and foolishly co-joined the platforms in my head without giving it adequate thought.
