Proper Siege Behavior

As for the original poster, don't worry about people fussing at you for playing the game. Just try to be fair to everyone, cap out where you'd like to, unless you're really shooting to get the Stage 10 achievement. We are all players of the same game here, let's all be nice and enjoy it with each other. :)

P.S. Sorry to the few people I stole kills from, I wasn't trying to be a jerk, just trying to make sure I was right about the scoring!

If I'm remembering correctly, it was actually you and Rogue that I stole the most kills from to get my data.. Sorry y'all, hugs to make it better? *huggles*

If someone is using a good build/ weapon set and they arrive early enough, they shouldn't have any problem breaking 20k with both assist and kill scores. My 600E toon regularly can break 20k, so ego level is no excuse. Unless the siege is crowded (+20 players) there are enough enemies running around at the sieges that kill stealing shouldn't be an issue. Just an excuse for ignorant players to use to explain poor numbers.

I've only been playing a few days and I've gotta say I get my arse handed to me on a stick more than I kill anything in sieges. I'm usually the guy who took too much damage and is hiding behind the rubble restoring his shields. Usually when I take too much damage, its from running out into fire, trying to res someone. On average, I get about 5k points in a siege start-finish, with my personal record being 12k. Havent done one in a few hours though, and certainly not since I dramatically increased my firepower. I really hate you so much right now.

I suck at sieges. Highest score yet was just under 20k, first siege that I got there at the start, then it ended just before i got to 20k.

I'm currently trying different LO's and perks, but I just suck I guess. I will get it, damnit!

If you got the Extra Life Machine Gun (the syphon version), use that. Throw some mods on it and fire away. I easily break 20k with it halfway through a siege. Of course, I can do better with my VBI Tacc AR, but the EL Machine Gun was much easier to acquire.. Or try any gun that you're completely comfortable with. My loves are my VBI Tacc AR and Ground Pounder for PvE, and my VBI Sniper and Charge Blade for PvP. VBI Tacc AR alone gets me 25-30k halfway through a siege, and I can just sit out the rest. It's all about what weapons are comfortable with you. I personally love decoy as my ego power. It's great for survivability. I've been told that using overcharge is the best for sieges, but I don't see it. I may not do as much damage, but I often get more score in the end than any OC user. Perks to bump up your ego power, things like fortitude and cellular armor are great, the regeneration one, etc. Try to get yourself a regen shield. My purple 75% respark regen is beast (thank you Maverick! :)). And try to pick defense points that only a few arkhunters are at. Increases your chances of getting the killshot and therefore getting more points.

I find it quite amusing to run around with a SAW and open up on ANYTHING THAT BLOODY MOVES.

I rack up quite a few points.

I get more when I "take it seriously" but that's very rare .... I dislike serious.

Plus I like my SAW. Even after the nerf. You'll never make me give it up Trion, no matter how hard you try .... mwahahaha.
