Arkbreaker (DLC2) is coming December 10

So the part where they say 20 new weapons that put a spin on your current favorites. Sounds like they're just gonna be like the "Cinder" special SAW we saw in DLC2 vids already but maybe not?

And the Warmaster will give us a chance at some of the best loot in Defiance? I like the sound of that... as far as Stims and Spikes go though... I still don't think they are really necessary.

Overall though I am really looking forward to this DLC. Hopefully tomorrows stream hits on a lot of questions and they get the Alpha Server up soon.

I may be in an "after work" derp mode, but I saw no mention of grenades in the blog.

Is the grenade chage, (that everyone asked for, but not really) going into effect on the DLC2?

Also, curious about the "co-op" main missions, as pointed out by another poster.

I hope one of the patches/DLCs will add free camera rotation mode and relaxed pose (which already exist in character creator).

I'm looking forward to 'Spikes', it brings a much needed element to the game, group buffs. (yes I know its not just people in your group that can benefit from them)

I know the BMG's sorta cover this, yet I felt this sort of team play mechanic was missing.

Even 'Stims' might make already fun combat more engaging, maybe...

All in all, I am super excited about DLC 2. :D

Just a personal observation here, but the regular "chat" does not seem to be so broken to me.

I think people are disabling open mic chat because of the dumb *****es that don't know how to, (or just don't care if we hear U arguing w/ your spouse, or yelling at your kids) work a mic.

I understand the nuances of clan, group, etc. chat problems, but it seems some players are "hell bent" on insisting that it is impossible to communicate w/ other players.

Perhaps someone could make a post explaining how to manipulate the chat channels, how to "inspect" another player to access their profile and send a message, etc.

It's not the voice chat people are so upset about. It's the text based chat. If you have any experience with established MMOs like WoW, Rift, SWTOR, Runes of Magic etc, you'd know how big a part text chat plays in coordination, trade, socialization and just general communication. If you took some time to look through threads and posts concerning the chat system, you might get a better idea about what is wrong and why.

Console players may be used to communicating with mics, but PC people are really used to communicating by text, especially in an MMO. The big chat window works (mostly) fine, the problem is with the small one, which is the only one you can read while playing. This little window almost never updates correctly, and this makes it very difficult to communicate properly with most people while you're actively playing.

It's not a huge issue for me, I'm not an overly social player. But it's a little mind-boggling that they still haven't managed to fix something that has been standard in multiplayer games for many years.

Actually I'm a bit curious about the Volge Engineer outfit is it going to be like the other engineer outfits we already have or is it actually going to look like Volge armor?.....or how about the fact that the Volge are a warrior race which begs the question of if they even really have engineer types at all? I mean I know people get asking for Volge outfits since they have allowed us to acquire helmets, but an engineer outfit just seems like a slap in the face instead of like the armor the Volge in game currently have.

Even though it was pretty obvious to me that only paid-DLC owners can calldown arkfalls, you guys asked and didn't get an answer from any officials here...
