What would it take for you to recommend Defiance to people

It's great to see that I'm not alone here! It's hard to swim through the ocean of blanket negativity here and not think nearly everyone just wants to hate this game for the sake of hating it. The sad thing is, if some of those people would actually use their experiences to bring well thought out commentary on what's wrong instead of slinging hatred and sarcasm all over the place, they might actually help the game get better! Sad that they just want us to be as miserable as they seem to be.

I just recommended it tonight to someone looking for a new game to play.

I would want the servers to be able to handle more people wearing different outfits in one place. As in major arkfalls, sieges, and even just standing around a shopkeeper when there's a big crowd.

Maybe that's a small thing to other people, but I'm one of those people who prefer to 'be' their avatars, rather than just control them. I don't see the point of character customization if no one can actually see our characters 90% of the time and that drains a fair amount of fun from larger coop events. I might recommend getting the game on sale, but I certainly wouldn't recommend someone buy cosmetic items in the cash shop until this changed.

I'd recommend Defiance to anyone. Spent more time playing this than a lot of other games. I'd recommend it with the note that the developers haven't been making a reasonable effort in creating new content. But, hell...it's 5 bucks now. I could also ask someone to grab me a bag of Doritos and a Diet Coke and I'd pay them tomorrow.

Damn. Doritos. I want some of those.

Man I'm now remember back in the day all in all 10 people I got to get this game at $59.99 plus tax...... Good old days.....:mad:

With that said Trion has done lots more so in PVE which I play and if it keeps up I will start to think again about recommending this game to people I know again.

Back in the day was like Doritos.

You know the ones. They've been in the fridge with the sodas just long enough to get that chill.

Mmmmm....crispy Nacho Doritos with a Coke.

But if you let them get stale and soft, they suck worse than (opened) full beer cans found on the curb.

If this new DLC is hard and I need help within the game. I know of 3 people I will get to play and help me if it is hard difficult.
